Every classroom has a wide variety of learners. This free resource is great for exploring fractions concepts with students working between a 3rd-5th grade level.
The differentiated problems get progressively harder. This is a 18-page packet of worksheets with engaging questions for students who are still grappling with the concept of division, as well as challenge problems for students who are ready to divide whole numbers into fractions and mixed numbers.

Students are given opportunities to draw diagrams or use number lines to compare fractions. They are posed with fun (delicious, even) questions about dividing cookies between friends.
Fun option: use circular post it notes as a tool for students to cut up the “cookies” and share them between friends.
